The cotton mill in Remerton, Georgia, was torn down in 2013, over a century after being built. I documented the mill and its demolition over the course of 2 years, culminating in a gallery show of over 50 images made along with my friend and fellow photographer Sally. This is one of the images I made that we couldn't fit in the show that I rediscovered years later. This haunting image was made with infrared film, giving it a unique look.
