Clyde Butcher is definitely an inspiration, and the Wisner 12x20 I started shooting in 2020 is the same camera he has used for a number of his iconic images. Clyde is also well-known for shooting at Myakka River State Park, and has made many images of this tree.

I spent a few days in Myakka in late 2020 and the first day I arrived I was treated to a lovely sunset just as I came into the park. The sun illuminated the Spanish Moss on the tree from behind. Due to rushing to get setup, I actually forgot my tripod attachment screws in the car, and so I carefully balanced the camera on the tripod to make this shot!
