The Summer to-do List
Ok, last year I had excuses. I fixed up the parents house to put it on the market so my to-do list at home was ignored. So in an effort to remind myself of what needs to be done I will list it here, in no particular order.
1) Put the leftover stuff from the estate on ebay and close storage unit. (in progess and earning a nice chunk of change)
2) Clean and organize my garage. (done)
3) Clean and organize our guestroom/office. I would really like to make the office section look better but that will take some cash. Throw out old stuff.
4) The Car. Fix Car’s airconditioning. Fix the drooping ceiling fabric, broken headlights, and other minor repairs.Wash the car and clean the interior.
5) Lose 42 more pounds. My doctor recommeds the ELF diet. (Eat less Food) [40 to go]
6) Market my websites, especially my daugters site, www.emmas-closet.com
7) Fix the tile in the bathroom, the holes in the garage drywall, and other little broken things around the house. [started]
8) Edge the flower beds with a real bed edger. [DONE]
9) Decide what to do about the pond, then do it.
10) Get over this sinus infection. [DONE]
11) Reconnect with some old friends.[DONE]
12) Go on vacation and actually relax. [DONE]
13) Get rid of those paint buckets that have been sitting around for 5+ years. [DONE]
14) Sell the big dog kennel or give it away[Done]
15) Refurbish the bench with Emma
16) Go to the pool more. I’m paying for it, why not use it.[Summers over]
17) Watch less TV. Use the DVR more so I can fast forward through commercials.[eh not so much]
18) Get rid of old computers, satellite receivers, and other electronics around the house. Certainly there must be a recycle center for them.
19) Sell dad’s fly fishing books or donate them.[selling on Amazon a few at a time]
20) Send camera lens in for repair.
21) Move TV cable from Emma’s room to playroom, perhaps even buy bigger one for kids to share. [Done, now the watch less TV]
22) Find a deal on an LCD projector + screen for new patio room.
23) Fill in mulch in flowerbeds.
24) Organize my closet, put in better shoe rack.
25) Repaint or finish decorating dining room.
