I created a simple contact form using coldfusion CFORM and CFMAIL tag. The form gathers all the elements needed for the CFMail tag area and once submitted displays either a success or error message. I used Coldfusions built in form validation to check the from-email, required elements, and a simple spam bot checker. Upgrades to the code would be to include cc addresses and attachments. The to email address could be made into a select rather than an input box, or could be hidden .
I am sure the security experts will come up with a thousand reasons to not make this public so it may be best to use it in an intranet application. If nothing else you can hide it and use it to send reminders to your home email.
